Intro
This document will act as the terms and conditions of the agreement. They will form the contract between Stilu Web Solutions (we, us) and the Customer (you) for the services we provide.
www.stilu.co.uk is a site operated by Stilu Web Solutions. Stilu Web Solutions will endeavour to meet your needs and achieve your goals. To avoid any misunderstandings the terms and conditions will outline who is responsible for each part of the process. This will ensure there are no problems and if any issues do occur, they can be rectified easily.
In this contract we’re avoiding any complicated legal terms, jargon or unreadable text. The business relationship between both parties is paramount. It is important that all parties involved understand what's the agreement.
Stilu Web Solutions may change these terms and conditions when a review has taken place and it felt necessary to do so. We will provide the customer with 30 days' notice of any changes to the terms and conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the terms and conditions on a regular basis. Unless explicitly stated any new services or features that alter or improve the services, will be included in these Terms and Conditions.
In short
You, our "Customer", are hiring us "Stilu Web Solutions" to provide you with our services for your online presence and to create a website for an agreed price set in the proposal document / email submitted to you.

Planning
After you have agreed for us to complete your project, we will produce a sitemap outlining the structure and functionality of your new online presence. Once you are happy with this and we have received your formal sign off, we will build the project. Any additions, changes to functionality or layout structure required after the sign-off will be chargeable.
Payment
Once both parties agree to go ahead with the project, a 50% deposit of the total amount due is required. The initial deposit payment in non-refundable. Once we have received the deposit and work is completed, you are required to pay the balance in full. The website will only go live once full payment has been made.
If both parties have agreed credit terms for your payment it will be required 30 days from the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge for costs and expenses incurred to recover late payments. We will charge interest at the current interest rate and then inforce recovery action as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as at the due date.
Web Design and Development
We build websites with a great designs and flexible layouts that are responsive to different screen sizes. We will set up an online area for your project where you will be able to review the work as it develops. This will enable you to provide regular feedback and sign off the project. The Contract will permit you to amend the design two times from the initial design/ request. Once you are happy and have signed off the project we will then focus on the development to complete your website. There will be charges if you require any more changes to the layout, functionality or additions to your online project.
There will always be open communication with you as the project is developing. You will have opportunity to review the progress and provide feedback. If at any stage you wish to cancel the contract and we have not breached our terms of conditions, you will have to pay in full. Any cancellation will need to be made in writing.
Copy/Text content
Unless previously agreed it is not our responsibility to add /insert your text or imagery into your content management system. You will be required to create the pages and add the content on your system.
If we have agreed that we create all the pages and insert the copy on your behalf this should be provided to us electronically. The information will be required in a word document (.doc/.docx) or in plain text (.txt). If information is supplied in a different format than detailed above you will be charged an hourly rate as set up in our proposal.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that it has the relevant copyright to be used on the website. Stilu Web Solutions will not take responsibility for any copyright breaches caused by materials submitted by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless proof is given of permission to use the material.
Graphics & Media
You should supply graphic files in an editable, vector digital format. PDF, AI, EPS or PSD formats are recommended. You should supply photographs in digital format as JPG or PNG files and in high resolution. If you choose to use stock photography, we can recommend stock libraries. If you’d like us to search and select photographs for you, we can provide this for a separate charge.
Code
The websites and CMS Systems that we deliver are built by Stilu Web Solutions (We will work with other frameworks such as WordPress on customer request). Our Systems use PHP as Server Side Programing Language and Mysql as Database development to store website data. HTML for layout structure, CSS for appearance, styling and animations and JavaScript in the form of Jquery for behaviour and interactivity. By entering into this contract, you agree to the use our technologies to complete your current project.
Copying or editing any part of the code created by Stilu Web Solutions that makes up your website is also forbidden as is re-using any part of our code as the basis for another CMS. Doing this is in breach of our licence agreement, and may lead to suspension of services and recovery from you of any resulting costs.
IT support
Stilu Web Solutions is not a IT support company so unfortunately we are not able to offer support for your PC, Desktop, Laptop or Mac, Tablet or telephone of any variety. We will always however provide support and advice on any services created or offered by us to the best of our ability. This includes hosting or email based on our servers.
Hosting
Stilu Web Solution provides hosting services. We offer all our customers shared hosting. We can also offer Virtual Private Server (VPS). Any website we host must be accompanied by a hosting plan. If a customer uses our system the website will have to be hosted with us. Hosting Plans are paid in advance for the minimum length of one year.
If not using our CMS we still strongly recommend using our hosting services as it avoids the technical issues that can occur when involving other hosting companies. If you decide to use a different hosting provider, it will be your responsibility to ensure the hosting package used is sufficient to support the features of the website.
All hosting plans include email access and the facility to create your required email accounts.
Domain Names
Any domain names registered by Stilu Web Solutions are managed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the naming authorities (we provide full details on request). Is the customer’s full responsibility to renew the domain name on expiry. Domain names are paid in advance for the minimum length of one year (the customer will have the option for longer terms). We will always help if customer is having problems to do so.
If anytime you wish to transfer your domain name to another provider, you will have to pay any outstanding invoices and renewal fees prior to the transfer. We may charge an administration fee to transfer your domain name out to another provider. We are not responsible for any charges or fees imposed by your new provider. These fees are the customer’s responsibility.
Search engine optimisation (SEO)
We do not guarantee any improvements to the search engine ranking, or to get your website on top of Google first page. Google controls how pages are ranked. The pages are built in a way that is accessible to search engines and follow all current SEO standards.

We do offer SEO services in various forms and we’re happy to provide a separate estimate for that.
Packages
Web Packages are created to suit different customer’s budgets and requirements. Package prices are designed with the necessary features for the website to function. An extra charge will be applied if additions are requested.
All Packages comes with FREE domain (for one year) and 6 months FREE hosting.
Design credits
The customer agrees that Stilu Web Solutions places a small credit on their website. This will be in the form of a link to our website on customer’s website. (This would usually be on the website's footer). This will be in the form of a small logo or line of text placed towards the bottom of the page.
The customer also agrees that Stilu Web Solutions can use the customer’s website and other designs to display as part of our portfolio. We may also add a link to customer website.
Legal
We hold no responsibility for any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate this website and any other web pages.
If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason is unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
